Working in Communication Services in Dallas ISD, I have produced impactful marketing campaigns and led various successful internal and external communications efforts—for example, a new mobile app and fundraising and logistics for State of the District. As a coordinator, I was charged with all outreach and marketing for the successful adoption of a new compensation system for teachers, TEI. As a manager in the Office of Family and Community Engagement, I have been in charge of our major initiatives and all campaigns to promote them. I have honed my strategic planning and project management skills.

I have always loved telling stories, which is why I became a journalist. My tenure in Dallas ISD has allowed me to explore a variety of writing styles and to continue planning and creating new publications, tailored to engage particular audiences.
